This is a Martin Cate original we found in the Smuggler’s Cove book. And when it’s 100+ degrees outside, anything with the name ‘Cooler’ in it is hard to pass on! The cocktail is very refreshing and tropical and still somehow lets the spicy, grassiness from the rhum agricole stand out.

Ingredients
Scale
2 oz Rhum J.M agricole blanc
1/2 oz @licor43global
3/4 oz lime juice
2 dashes Angostura bitters (@angosturahouse)
2 oz guava soda
Garnish: mint sprig, cinnamon stick, surfsidesips straw
Instructions
Add the guava soda to a glass filled with ice. Combine remaining ingredients in a shaker with ice and shake well. Strain into the glass and top with more ice. Add garnish and light cinnamon stick for show.
