Thumbs Up đź‘Ť

What’s everyone sippin’ tonight?

We stirred this lil beauty that’s a fun play on a drink we recently had at Mentone—David Kinch’s new project in nearby Aptos. They’re serving up really cool cocktails to pair with some of the best pizza we’ve had in a long while!

The OG cocktail, simply called ✌, calls for 1814 and has a legit peace sign branded into a clear ice cube. Love it. When recreating the drink at home, we tried two variations. One with Aperol in place of the 1814, the other with Cappelletti. Both turned out solid, though we enjoyed the lighter citrus notes from the Aperol a bit more.

You do you.

Peace!
