We don’t make nearly enough Rum Runners around here…but when we do, they’re always fire!
There are a ton of different recipes out there, so feel free to explore and experiment with other rum combinations—the specs here are from Erick Castro. This time we used white rhum agricole for those slightly funky, overripe fruit flavors.
What’s your go-to Rum Runner recipe?
INGREDIENTS:
1 oz Rhum JM agricole blanc
1 oz dark rum (@plantation.rum Original Dark)
1 oz pineapple juice
3/4 oz lime juice
3/4 oz simple syrup
2 dashes Peychaud’s bitters
Garnish: pineapple fronds, @surfsidesips bamboo straw
DIRECTIONS:
Combine all ingredients in a shaker with a little ice and whip shake. Open pour into a glass and top with more ice. Add garnish.
