A couple months ago, we shared a cocktail we created called Day Trippin’ inspired by drives to the coast that often took us past countless strawberry fields—feel free to scroll back to check it out. This time around we used tequila as the base and made some other minor adjustments, including infusing the Suze with fresh strawberries, adding a touch of smoky mezcal, and bringing the tropical vibes with pineapple syrup. Annnnd, it’s delicious!
Naming it ‘Ola Adiós’ after the song by Vacación—so please shake one up at home while jamming to great tunes!
Ola Adios | Reposado and Strawberry Infused Suze Cocktail
A couple months ago, we shared a cocktail we created called Day Trippin’ inspired by drives to the coast that often took us past countless strawberry fields—feel free to scroll back to check it out. This time around we used tequila as the base and made some other minor adjustments, including infusing the Suze with fresh strawberries, adding a touch of smoky mezcal, and bringing the tropical vibes with pineapple syrup
Ingredients
1 1/2 oz tequila reposado (@aguamieltequila)
1/3 oz strawberry-infused Suze (@suzeofficial)
1 tsp mezcal (@delmagueymezcal VIDA)
1/4 oz orgeat (@liberandco)
1/2 oz pineapple syrup (@liberandco)
1/2 oz lime juice
Garnish: mint bouquet, strawberry, @surfsidesips straw
Instructions
Combine ingredients in a shaker with ice and shake. Strain into a glass and top with ice. Add garnish.
Notes
To infuse the Suze: Portion your Suze for the anticipated number of cocktails you want to make and finely chop 1 large strawberry per serving. Combine and let sit overnight in a clean container. Strain pulp when ready to use.
