We miss travel—yeahhh we’re still not over our cancelled trips to the Cook Islands and Japan. But hey we’re grateful to be healthy and able to explore our backyard. This year has been all about day trips, which usually means driving past the strawberry fields of Watsonville (blaring “Strawberry Fields Forever” by the Beatles, of course…) on our way to Monterey, Big Sur, etc.
So we made a drink to capture those vibes—starting with strawberry then building around that, trying to find the right rum(s), modifier(s), combination of other flavors, all that good stuff. And this is the recipe we came up with, hope ya enjoy!
Side note: Lemon juice works well in place of lime juice. Use what you got!
