Singapore Sling Recipe

Let’s keep it rolling with another classic gin-based tiki drink! This is the Singapore Sling, created at Raffles Hotel in Singapore by bartender Ngiam Tong Boon—not sure of the exact year but it was most likely sometime around the beginning of the 1900s. There are so many variations and different recipes out there, but we really enjoy the one from Smuggler’s Cove

INGREDIENTS:  
1 1/2 oz London Dry Gin
1/2 oz Cherry Heering liqueur
1/4 oz Benedictine
3/4 oz lemon juice 
1/4 oz demerara syrup 
1 dash Angostura bitters
1 dash orange bitters
2 oz seltzer  
Garnish: lemon wheel, cherry, @surfsidesips straw 

 DIRECTIONS: 
Add the seltzer to the bottom of a Collins glass. Combine all other ingredients in a shaker with ice and shake well. Double-strain into the glass and add garnish.
