And since we had a bottle of the good stuff on our home bar, we decided to shake up a drink that brings together delicious tequila and tiki vibes.

Puddle Jumper | A Tiki-ish Reposado Tequila Cocktail
A tiki-ish reposado tequila cocktail with strawberry-infused Bonal, and Rhum Agricole Blanc.
Ingredients
1 oz reposado tequila
1 oz rhum agricole blanc
1/4 oz strawberry-infused Bonal
1 tsp velvet falernum
3/4 oz Don’s Mix
1/2 oz lime juice
4 drops absinthe
1 dash Angostura bitters
Garnish: slice of grapefruit
Instructions
Combine ingredients in a shaker with ice and shake. Strain into a glass and top with ice. Add garnish.
Notes
For the strawberry-infused Bonal:
Combine 1 oz Bonal with 2 diced ripe strawberries and let infuse overnight in a small covered jar. Strain before using.
