Pineapple + coffee = everything . We first discovered the Mr. Bali Hai cocktail while watching Distinguished Spirits’ YouTube (btw that channel is gold!) and knew we had to whip one up. The drink mixes rums and coffee liqueur with pineapple juice, which we hadn’t seen before but is now our favorite flavor combo—we even put pineapple syrup in our coffee at home. It’s an addiction…so be warned. But most importantly, make a Mr. Bali Hai stat.
INGREDIENTS:
1 1/2 oz dark rum
1 oz light rum (@denizenrum)
3/4 oz coffee liqueur (@mrblackspirits)
1/2 oz demerara syrup
1 1/2 oz pineapple juice
1 oz lemon juice
Garnish: pineapple fronds, surfsidesips straw
DIRECTIONS:
Combine all ingredients in a shaker with some crushed ice and shake. Open pour into a glass (or tiki mug) and top with more ice if needed. Add garnish.
