This is our Bay Area riff on the Fog Cutter, a tiki classic created by Trader Vic in the 1940s. We wanted to pay homage to the thick layer of fog that often covers the Bay—the fog even has its own name, Karl the Fog, and a large social media following. The drink already has a bit of cloudiness from the orange and orgeat, so we decided to double down and add a float of something darker and so very SF: fernet.
